DJ Alexy

In early 2015, Alex started to produce his own remixes and compositions largely tailored for Brazilian zouk dancers. He continued to hone his skills in music production and djing that year and started to land spots in local festivals such as the Sydney International Zouk Festival and the Sydney Latin Festival.

Since then Alex has set up Zouk My World Radio Australia, organised Sydney’s monthly Zouk World Party as well as being the co-organiser of Zouk Station in Goulburn. He has also played at many other festivals around Australia including, Sydney International Bachata Festival, Whitsundays Latin Festival and Melbourne’s Brazouky Festival.

Internationally, Alex has played at the Salsa in Hawaii Congress, I’M Zouk in Miami and New Zealand’s MountZouk Festival.

Alex continues to produce hundreds of tracks, with his music now being played by other djs in dozens of countries around the world. He hopes to continue to grow his skills and share his works with the rest of the dance community with the aim of spreading joy and inspiring the love of music and dance to people around the world.
